Karen Schueler, parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church, has served on the Council at St. Elizabeth Catholic Charities since 2007. Karen believes in the mission of St. E’s and felt called to help the women and children in our local communities. She has served on several committees and as vice president and president of the advisory board. She enjoys her current role as advisor on the executive board. Karen graduated from Indiana University Southeast earning her undergraduate degree in elementary education. She also finished her masters and her +45 in both Elementary and High School Administration. She has worked as an elementary teacher and assistant principal at Holy Family, served as principal at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, and currently at Providence High School. Karen is married to Barry Schueler and they have 4 children: Charlie, married to Maddie Walburn and they have a 4 month old son, Henry; Jeffrey, married to Paige Daniel; Sarah Beth and Scott.
